Funny Face
Funny Face is a musical starring Fred Astaire and Audrey Hepburn. It is yet another romantic comedy. Dick Avery shows up at a bookstore where Jo Stockton works. After a photo shoot ends, Dick stays to help Jo clean up. He also notices Jo in some of the pictures.
He and a fashion editior are intrigued by Jo. They offer her a modeling contract. Jo signs on so she can go to Paris but eventually begins to enjoy the modeling business. She also becomes fond on Dick.
The movie proved to be vastly different from the Broadway play with the same name. This is also one of Fred Astaire's three French themed films he made in the 50's when he was nearing the end of his career.
